This project involved the major refurbishment and extension of an Oasthouse Dwelling. A large degree of re-planning within the existing house was undertaken including the introduction of a new stair within the original circular kiln which 'unlocked' circulation enabling a simpler and more efficient plan. A new engineered timber frame extension is proposed to provide galleried living space which will connect the Oasthouse to an existing staff annexe.
