Our growing expertise in sustainable Architecture led us down a much more contemporary design route; more honest to the building of modern, efficient houses. The structure is a Swedish timber cassette system sourced from sustainable forests. Each cassette is filled with recycled paper insulation and has outstanding thermal insulation properties. The external materials are white render, galvanised-steel down pipes and gutters, natural slate roof and a copper entrance canopy. Internally there are green slate and maple timber floors, with oak doors and skirtings. The property has recently been featured in the Yorkshire Times with the client affirming. ”Now that it’s finished we wouldn't change anything. It’s delightful to live in”
