There were a number of constraints on this tight site which had to be addressed to ensure its successful development. It is a sloping garden plot with a heavy tree-line to its boundary and significant properties as neighbours. In navigating these we developed a compact dwelling which is planned around a beautiful oak staircase at the heart of the house which successfully negotiates the split levels and maximises efficient circulation within the dwelling.
