Together with Francis Construction, Morse Webb Architects hosted their inaugural “Tour de Berkshire” cycling event on the 19 July 2018.  Blessed with sunshine and temperatures in the late 20s, two groups of ten riders headed off into the Berkshire and North Hampshire countryside in pursuit of 35 miles of gloriously smooth tarmac.   Dubbed “The Rotten Ride” the route took in a few lumps and bumps, yet the teams managed to ride together and finish in full chain-gang formation as they rode back to Morse Webb’s studio in Bramley – where they were greeted with a barbeque, beers and other refreshments.

A great afternoon was enjoyed by all – who are very much looking forward to a repeat event next year – especially Steve (not quite one) Miles, whose tyre blowout after 500 yards meant that his ride was cut prematurely short and is hoping his pre-event training will keep until 2019.

If you are interested in joining us next year please do not hesitate to send us an email at studio@morsewebb.co.uk to register your interest.
