Lambrook School – Classroom Conversion

We were appointed to upgrade and update an old 1970s Assembly Hall to provide refurbished classrooms and improve the building’s energy efficiency.

The old Assembly Hall housed four adjacent classrooms accessed from a single corridor; we re-designed the space providing each new classroom with a single external door, thus improving access.

To increase the building’s energy efficiency, new thermal insulation was added to the roof and existing walls.

To improve the building’s aesthetic appeal, the existing brick walls were re-clad in cedar, transforming the building’s appearance at a relatively low cost.
