Construction of a new replacement house situated in a remote hamlet located in the South Downs National Park. Four-storeys, including a basement and an attic, set within four acres of grounds overlooking the ancient site of Noar Hill Hanger, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

The design is in a Gothic revival style built using vernacular construction techniques and materials. Steeply pitched roofs covered in handmade plain clay tiles over walls of natural upper green sandstone, salvaged from the former property and extracted out of the basement excavations, bedded and pointed in lime mortar. Bespoke, handmade brick dressings fired to order.

Bespoke internal joinery for walnut panelled doors and window-reveal linings. Principal rooms have elegant natural stone and marble chimneypieces to fireplaces and unique fibrous plaster cornices. A natural Portland stone cantilever stone staircase rises through the heart of the house.
