Morse Webb undertook a series of consultation workshops with the NHS Hampshire Foundation Trust to establish the exact requirements for this new respite care facility. The cruciform plan creates a series of courtyards around which bedrooms and communal spaces can open into, or simply allow residents to benefit from views into a landscaped area.

Designed to comply with NHS Guidelines, the scheme uses natural light and a palette of soft and harmonious natural materials to ensure that the environment feels calm and warm.
